We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it’s like. So we’ve provided this page, knowing that it’s easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.
Our Lord’s Lutheran is a small yet passionate community whose purpose is to share the joy of Jesus Christ’s love and promise of salvation with all people. Through Christ’s power each day we strive to bring healing and love to a torn and hurting world.
We are honored that you have taken the first step to learn more about us. We invite you to join us in person to see for yourself the meaning of God’s Grace in our lives and in yours.
Our Lord’s Lutheran works hard to make sure all visitors are welcomed and encouraged. All attendees on Sunday Service are greeted at the door by designated greeters who are eager to introduce themselves, provide direction, and answer questions.
Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. The pastor and service participants dress conservatively, but you’ll see people in the pews dressed in all styles—from jeans to business suits. Our Lord’s offers classic worship that features traditional Lutheran litergy and excellence in hymn style choral and instrumental music.
Each service lasts for approximately one hour. Near the beginning, the pastor will encourage you to greet the people sitting around you, but no one will single you out as a visitor. Also, we don’t expect our visitors to give. So feel free to let the offering plate pass by when it comes down your row.
Kids are welcome to attend worship services! However, if you prefer, a cry room or special child care is also provided. We also offer Sunday-morning programs where fellowship groups, Bible study, and social events offer adults a chance to connect.
